Felicia DeLeon
This lady has a long career in wrestling! She’s been dedicated to the sport of wrestling for nine years! She’s earned her spot on the Varsity team and she’s expecting this year to be great. Last year Felicia was District Runner-up and a Region Qualifier. She’s an only child with lots of friends that keep things busy. There’s lots of rap and hip-hop music playing on her ipod, and she keeps busy hanging with friends, dancing at football games and just chillin’ out. Next fall
Claudia Gonzalez
Although Claudia has only been wrestling two years, she made a quick move up from JV to Varsity during her first year on the team. Her home is full with one brother, a dog – who’s really a full family member – and her mom and dad! Claudia is a musician at heart and spends time playing her guitar, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. She’ll be attending Collin County Community College in the fall, and then plans to enroll in UNT to complete her degree.
Kristen Huffman
Congratulations to Kristen who has already been accepted to Oklahoma University where she plans to study to become a dental hygienist. She has been wrestling since her freshman year with three of those years as a Varsity team member. Kristen works and goes to school AND wrestles. Now that’s a busy lady! When she has a few minutes of spare time she likes hanging out and writing her autobiography. When Kristen leaves for Norman in the fall, she’ll leave behind brother Bradley who is a Junior this year at Centennial.
Yasmine Zaman
Wrestling for four years, two on JV and the past two on Varsity, Yasmine brings maturity and talent to the Titan team. She was District Runner-up for the 2008/09 season while maintaining her rank in the top 10% of her class. She particapates in National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. Yasmine has two sisters, Roxy - 10 and Sofie - 6. Her hobbies include wrestling, working out, and hanging out with her friends. Red Hot Chilli Peppers is one of her favorite bands. After high school, she'll be enrolling in a four year college program with plans to major in Biology. Yasmine plans to persue a graduate degree in physical therapy.
